Airlines



EVA Airways stands for Evergreen Airways, is one of the two largest airlines in Taiwan. It operates passenger and dedicated cargo services to over 40 international destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. EVA Air is privately owned and flies a fully international route network. It is rated as a 5-star airline by Skytrax, and is the second largest airline based in Taiwan.




China Airlines is the state-owned flag carrier of Republic of China (Taiwan). It is one of Taiwan's two major airlines. It is headquartered in Taoyuan International Airport and operates over 1,400 flights weekly, including 102 cities across Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.




STARLUX is the newest major airline carrier, based in Taipei, Taiwan, and operated its first flight from Taipei to Macau on 23 January 2020. It boots the youngest and most modern fleet with a growing number of destinations across Asia and new routes to the USA. It prides itself as offering a completive quality service at a reasonable price using all the latest technology.


Organizations



Development of the Taiwan tourism industry began in 1956. In 1960, with the approval of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications(MOTC). In 2023 the Tourism Bureau became the Tourism Administration, MOTC.
